Union Square strikes GOLD

Union Square, Hamilton’s Central City property development, was awarded Gold at the recent Registered Masterbuilders New Zealand Commercial Project Awards held in June.

Masterminded by Fosters property development team and delivered by Foster Construction, Union Square’s recently completed buildings, Buildings E and F were recognised for design, innovation, and project delivery, as well as outcome for occupiers and, importantly, the surrounding urban environment within the Hamilton CBD.

Designed around the precept of ‘experience better’, Union Square creates a bold new neighbourhood that enhances the experience and wellbeing of the people working there, aiming to foster connectivity, community, and plays a major part in Hamilton’s CBD revitalisation.

Situated on the corner of Anglesea and Hood Streets, the development also regenerates a key area of the city and attracts footfall into the CBD from new corporate occupiers.

Notable as Hamilton’s first prime grade mixed-use office precinct, both these A-grade seismically designed buildings stand out as remarkable structural and architectural achievements.

Achieving Gold for the commercial sector confirms the judges gave the Union Square development a score of over 90%.
